One of my favorite creatures of the night...
1. New Moon / Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer - I can't really put Twilight on this list because there are no werewolves involved in that story.
2. Blood & Chocolate by Annette Curtis Klause - There is a movie version of this book, but I highly recommend reading the book. The movie is almost a completely different story, with a very different ending, although if I hadn't read the book, maybe I would have liked the movie better--the special effects weren't bad. But the book has a WAY better story, it's not predictable at all.
3. Cycle of the Werewolf by Stephen King - This was made into a movie called Silver Bullet, which was also very good (for a werewolf movie... most werewolf movies are not very good).
Short list, huh? There are other werewolf books out there (like The Howling, but that is not one I would recommend). Here are a few that I haven't read:

- The Wereling series by Stephen Cole
- Wolf Moon by Charles de Lint
- A Walk in Wolf Wood by Mary Stewart
- Essential Werewolf by Night, a collection of Marvel comics featuring werewolves
- The Silver Wolf, Night of the Wolf, and The Wolf King, a trilogy by Alice Borchardt (sister of Anne Rice)

Hey! i saw the film 'blood and chocolate' a few daays ago!
Wolves are awesome (and my namesake) but i think werewolves are kinda misunderstood, there was a tv miniseries a while back called the 10th kingdom. one of the main characters was half wolf, and he as one of the most awesome and sweet guy, to book which is a thousant times better only amplifies that. thanks!
