Halloween-Themed Reading List #2: Vampires

Here are my top picks! This week's list is a little longer than last week's, because I'm a big vampire fan.

1. The Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer - Come on, you saw this one coming.

2. The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice - Again, this isn't young adult, but Anne Rice's vampires are a breed of their own. My favorite titles include Interview with the Vampire, The Vampire Lestat, Queen of the Damned, The Vampire Armand, and Blood and Gold. I just love Armand. Possibly even more than Edward from Twilight.

3. Dracula by Bram Stoker - Had to include the classic. And while you're at it....

4. Bloodline by Kate Cary - Written as a sequel to Dracula.

5. Sunshine by Robin McKinley - I'm in the middle of reading it right now, and it's great so far...

6. The Last Vampire series by Christopher Pike

7. The Silver Kiss by Annette Curtis Klause - Not as good as Blood and Chocolate, but still it's a good read.

8. Salem's Lot by Stephen King - Not my favorite Stephen King book, but anything by him is great.
There are plenty of other vampire books out there... here are a few I haven't read yet:

NEXT WEEK: the theme is werewolves - send me your favorites!
